KYIV — Content creators in Ukraine who generated revenue through OnlyFans from 2020 to 2022 face a combined tax liability amounting to UAH 384.7 million, equivalent to nearly $10 million as of September 2025. This information was verified by the Ukrainian National News in a report released on Monday.
A representative from the State Tax Service confirmed the accuracy of this figure to the media outlet, stating, "That's correct," in reference to the outstanding debt. In spite of the ongoing conflict with Russia, Ukraine has experienced notable cultural shifts in recent years.
As reported by AVN, there is an ongoing initiative aimed at decriminalizing and ultimately legalizing pornography within the country. Even though anti-obscenity laws remain entrenched in Soviet-era legislation, their application and enforcement have diminished significantly in contemporary society.
The prospect of decriminalizing online pornography may soon materialize in Ukraine; a petition urging government support for this change has exceeded 25,000 signatures, according to a report by the Kyiv Independent from July. An official statement is now anticipated from President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s office, who is known for his centrist and pro-European stance.
