Dr. Gaydos, a Professor Emerita of Infectious Diseases at Johns Hopkins University, brings decades of expertise in sexually transmitted infection (STI) diagnostics and respiratory disease research. Throughout her career, she has led multiple FDA clinical trials, advanced the development of DNA amplification tests, and served as world president of the International Union Against Sexually Transmitted Infections(IUSTI).
