Identity Thief Caught with Personal Data of Hundreds of Adult Stars

CHATSWORTH, Calif. — A serious breach of privacy has rocked the adult industry as the Free Speech Coalition (FSC) announced Monday that a suspected identity thief was arrested in Southern California, found in possession of a document containing the personal data of hundreds of adult performers.

The list reportedly included highly sensitive information such as Social Security numbers and bank account details. The City of Orange Police Department is currently working to notify individuals whose names appeared on the list.

What You Should Do If Affected

If you believe you may be a victim or suspect your personal data has been compromised, FSC urges you to take immediate steps to protect your identity:

Place a fraud alert and security freeze on your credit reports by contacting one of the three major credit bureaus:

Equifax    – Equifax Alerts or call (800) 685-1111

Experian     – Experian Fraud Center or call (888) 397-3742

TransUnion     – TransUnion Fraud Alert or call (888) 909-8872
